Connecting the model, not just its name
AsheNow's provider connections are designed to make model choice configurable inside the workspace.
The current application includes connections for OpenRouter, DeepSeek Direct, and Anthropic, along with custom endpoints that follow supported OpenAI Chat Completions or Anthropic Messages protocols.
Connections can be scoped to a Profile or the system, and Agents can select a connection and model. A compatible URL alone does not guarantee support for every service or feature, so the exact protocol and its documented capabilities still matter.
When a conversation is sent to an AI provider, the request goes to the provider configured for that Agent. AsheNow stores its workspace data locally; it does not claim to keep provider requests on the device.
